Have you ever been faced with the challenge of finding unique gifts for Mom?

I know I sure have. I have a mother who, after having me, the original Wonderful Wacky Woman herself, expects me to scour the earth for one-of-a-kind gifts. So I am forever on a quest for that elusive present, the one thing that says, “I love you” in a funky kind of way.

When I first started my quest to find unique gifts for Mom, I discovered some pretty clever ideas. But it soon became apparent that if I really wanted something different, I was going to have to create it myself. So twice a year, once for her birthday and once for Christmas, I began creating my own unique gifts for Mom. These gifts came straight from my heart. One of my favorites is a cute little character I painted and story I wrote called “My Mother, My One True Constant.” It goes like this:

I often think about what a great mother you are.

I want to tell you just how much you mean to me,

You are the rock in my life…

…My one true constant …my foundation.

Through all my ups and downs,

I always knew you loved me, supported me

And believed in me.

This gave me the courage and strength

To go on when I didn’t think I could take one more step.

You were patient when I was most irritable.

You understood when I was unreasonable,

And you gave when I least deserved it.

I can’t imagine what a thankless job I must have been.

So for the record, Mom, I want you to know

I am so thankful for everything…

…All of it.

None of it went unnoticed.

I owe everything I am to you.

I love you mom.

It wasn’t long before friends were asking me to create unique gifts for Mom for their mothers too. So in time more of the same followed, each touching a different aspect of motherhood. Not only did I create these unique gifts for Mom in the form of what I call “Gifty Art” But also in other formats as well Before long, I realized I had quite a few unique gifts for Mom, and I wanted to share them all.

We set out to create this website to be able to share unique gifts for Mom. and it blossomed into a full blown site with all kinds of fun and exciting products for almost every relationship in your life.
